At the North Otago Rugby Football Union (NORFU), we honour the mana whenua of Te Rūnanga o Moeraki and are committed to fostering a strong partnership rooted in mutual respect and shared growth. Serving the 23 townships of the Waitaki District, our mission is to unite our people, nurture talent, and foster lifelong participation in rugby. Our commitment is to create pathways for all ages, guided by our core value of Inclusion, Fun, Excellence, Integrity, Bravery, and Respect. These values inspire everything we do, both on and off the field, ensuring rugby is accessible to all and enriches our community.
As we work towards our Strategic Plan (2025-2030), we aim to grow participation, enhance our competition structures, and ensure the sustainability of rugby in our region. We take pride in our legacy and are focused on ensuring rugby remains a positive force, helping to build a stronger, more inclusive community.
